We are still on a high following the AW12 TataNaka London Fashion Week presentation yesterday at Somerset House. When we get the call each season to have the 1st brainstorming session that’s one of our most favorite meetings to put in the diary! This season we looked at the inspiration images on the wall of their studio and we just instantly knew what to do, we went all out on the Motown theme combining the twins inspiration, characters, signature prints and sense of humour (the key elements that makes this duo so incredibly special to work with). The Portico Room was transformed (like it’s never been before in 1 hour) we covered the floor with a black & white check and draped the walls from floor to ceiling in their signature hand painted prints so the collection showed the rich abundance of textures and colours (something these girls know how to mix up like no other). We invited the wonderfully fun Bompas & Parr back this season to serve up their magical cocktails (Those Pina Colada’s went down a treat), what a fantastic day! We cannot wait to see what those girls come up with next season.
