This season we went back to High School with Tata Naka – 1986 to be precise! We had hours of fun re-living our youth watching movies to inspire us (The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, to name just a few). After our 2 day 1980’s movie marathon we had a meeting with the twins and decided on the 4 scenes the collection would be styled against, and off we went. Throughout the presentation we switched the backgrounds and props 3 times (we even got an ooohhhhhh from the crowd when the first changeover happened); we started in the school yard, then switched to the locker rooms, then had a TN Cheer moment and ended on the Prom (what 1980’s set would be complete without a prom?) Food was served by the amazing Bompas & Parr, who happily got into the role serving Jelly and milk carton cocktails wearing dinner lady uniforms. All in all yet another fun LFW had by all.
