A few months ago we had a get together with the Tata Naka twins to discuss the creative on their upcoming SS13 London Fashion Week show. As soon as we walked into their studio and looked at their pin-board wall we instantly knew what we would build. Their wall was crammed with images of Slim Aarons’ photography (one of our biggest photography crushes of all time) depicting glamorous socialites – ladies who lunch with a heavy dose of Hollywood for good measure. A few words were spoken which consisted of “So, we’re building a swimming pool then?”, the twins instantly clapped their hands and screamed “We can do that?” and the rest is history!

The Chameleon design team were set to work drafting a set that would work within the Portico Rooms at Somerset House. To add more poolside glamour we had deckchairs for two, custom made with the Tata Naka hand painted prints, striped umbrellas and a crazy pave floor. As always we have had a huge amount of fun working on the set and working alongside the twins…we now sit and wait with baited breath – what will we design next season? Whatever it is, we know it will be fun, it always is!
